I wish I were so lucky.Alabama and Georgia both went for McCain, and have been red states so long as I can remember.However, Maryland, where I am being treated did go solidly for Obama.
I have lived in Virginia and Wisconsin as well. Neighbor! Where/when did you live in those states?
I was born in Wisconsin (Madison), and my family used to go back out there and to Chicago in the summer to see relatives. We moved to Arlington when I was quite young, and so I lived there for most of my teen years, and still go back to visit.
